The Storey Institute has long been central to Lancaster's technical, artistic, and scientific cultures. It is currently being redeveloped into a center for creative industries through a £4.5m+ package of EU Northwest RDA funding schemes together with support from the Arts Council and Lancaster City Council. The center will include a restaurant, bar, auditorium, lecture halls, gallery spaces, tourist information center, and workspaces as well as a research group looking at relations between large and small enterprises and public and privately sponsored projects

The first horse sports simulation game to launch for Wii, My Horse and Me on Wii and PC is the first title of its kind to offer both 1st and 3rd person camera modes, putting riders right in the saddle and creating a perfect training tool for practicing disciplines that riders face in real life.
